Fitzgeralds of Tooradoo in Athea (Limerick) and their connection to Fitzgeralds in Knocknasnaa in Abbeyfealed and the Fitzgeralds in Glensharold in Carrickerry (Limerick)

When trying to trace the antecedents of my grandmother Nora Fitzgerald  (1861-1943)in Athea I found out that her father Thomas Fitzgerald (died in 1881) lived and farmed in Tooradoo in Athea and had a large family, which I have gained a lot of basic information about. However, a newspaper article based on the funeral attendants of Edward Fitzgerald of Glensharrold in Carrickerry Limerick  (died August 1910) claimed that Thomas Fitzgerald's of Tooradoo children and Edward T Fitzgerald of Knocknasnaa, as well as, the Glensharrold Fitzgerald's were related. I am finding it difficult to ascertain how this is so. All help and guidance would be greatly appreciated.
