She appears to be travelling with a Mary Phelan, relationship unknown. In New Zealand she married Thomas B Gould in 1877. They had 8 children together, Hanora 1878, Sylvester 1880, Ellen 1882, Martin Thomas 1884, Mary Ann 1886, Theresa 1888, unnamed 1891, Joseph 1893. Thomas B Gould died in 1896 and she married Clement Lucas 1904. Her father, Sylvester is noted as a 'cattle dealer' on her 1904 marriage and a merchant on her death certificate. Annie (nicknamed Minnie) may have been a nurse.
