I am looking for any McCarty/Carty family. My 7th great grandfather is Patrick McCarty his son my 6th great grandfather is Patrick Carty JR, Patrick McCarty was born 1710 in Craven Cork Ireland (this may not be correct just going by what I can find.) They are on record being in Chester Co. Pennsylvania United States. Patrick Carty Jr was born 1730 cannot find out where he was born. Patrick SR got married 1743 in Pennsylvania to Ann Sanderson or Sanders. So she is not the mother of Patrick Jr. My thinking is that Patrick SR got married in Ireland and while coming to America his son was born but the wife did not make it and died at sea. Just hoping that someone will have any information on Patrick McCarty. Thank you for your time.
