Hello, I need some assistance for this:

My 2nd great granmother, Mary Ann Farrell, was born in 1833 in Templemichael, Longford. Her parents are: Edward Farrell and Bidy McCann.

About Edward and Bidy, I have no clue of their marrriage, but looking on Ancestry, I found a marriage record for an Edward Farrelly and a Bridget McCann or McCanna, on Moyalty ( Meath) the same year Mary Ann was born.. so, my question is: could be that marriage record  from the parents of Mary Ann? Will you please take a look and tell me what do you think about it?

Here is the link to the record I was reading on Ancestry:

I kow that MOyalty is very distant from Templemichael, but I need some help here

TIA

  • Diana:

The baptism was in March and the marriage in May so unlikely the marriage record are for your ancestors. ( I know that some marriages occurred after the birth of a child but you would think the marriage would have occurred in Longford).
