Winnifred Millett (Mellett) also went by Winnie was born abt 1860 in Ireland to Martin and Winnifred Millett. She immigrated to the US and lived in Pittsburgh with her husband Michael Conroy. Do not know when and where she met Michael or where they were married. While in Pittsburgh she had her first child Martin. After his birth they moved to Brooklyn, New York where she had numerous children John, Catherine, Mary and Annie Elizabeth. Martin and Catherine were the only children to survive and live a long life. Winnifred died in 1905 in Brooklyn, NY and is buried in Holy Cross cemetery. According to her obituary she was from Cong, County Mayo.
