Some of the baptisms transcribed on the irishgenealogy aren't available on the NLI Catholic site. Just wondering how they were transcribed or why the original records aren't on the NLI website? Example is Nov 1841, Listowel. I can see why records would be missing for sure - but then I don't understand why there is a transcribed version? Thanks!

The records on the NLI site were created in the 1950s when parishes sent their available registers to be microfilmed by NLI.
I don't know when the records were transcribed to be placed on the irishgenealogy.ie site but likely some additional records were located for Listowel and included on the irishgenealogy.ie site.
