Meg Grant Moloney met her third cousin Frank Mitchell from Clonfad, Parish of Moore.
She met Ardnaglug residents ( Marie Monaghan, Gerry and Joan Ryan and Mary Dolan Kenny). In the course of conversation, we established that Meg is a fourth cousin of Gerry Ryan. Meg, her husband Tim and her children Siobhan and Catherine got to see the location of ancestral home of Meg's Great Grandmother, Annie T Kelly ( 1870 - 1945) . Annie T Kelly emigrated to Boston around 1890s.Annie ( married to Kelley in Boston) had made a return trip to Ardnaglug.
Additionally, Meg has contact details for family in Ireland who are building a family tree so the research will grow and continue online. Meg used diary notes kept by her cousin Claireanne Kelly ( now in her 90s) who made a trip in July 1982 to Ardnaglug and then located her cousin, Rosaleen McKeown Mitchell, in Clonfad, Moore.
