Andrew Sims was born circa 1803 in County Antrim possibly in the vicinty of Parkgate in the Diocese of Connor. He married Elizabeth Bell circa 1831 possibly at First Donegore Presbyterian Church, Parkgate. Elizabeth and Andrew may both have been from Tobergill in the Parish of Donegore.The couple immigrated to Lower Canada [Quebec] prior to 1834, then moved to Wellington County, Canada West [Ontario] circa 1838/39.
