Anna McKenna came to the USA in 1853 on the ship Mortimer Livingston, with her husband Bernard Farrell and several of their chikdren. They had 13 children between 1838 and 1858. They settled in Bethel, Sullivan County, New York where she died in 1861. She is buried in the Old Bethel Cemetery.
There is a record of marriage in the Ireland Cathokic Register of an Anna McKenna and Bernard Farrell, in County Monaghan.
