My dad was born in Knockboy in the county of Mayo. He had two brothers, Owen and James. He also had two sisters, Honor and Margaret. My dad came to England when he was young and his sister Honor soon followed but Owen, Jimmy, and Margaret all stayed in Ireland on the family farm. His father was named Martin Cooney and his mother was Honor Walsh. His grandad was named Owen. If anyone knew any of my family or are a relative I would like to hear from you.
