Anthony Dunnion married Mary Duffy on October 27, 1859 in St. Columba Church, Tawny. He lived in Magherawardan with his parents Francis and Bridget Dunnion and his brothers Hugh and John in a stone cottage. He and Mary emigrated to New Jersey in the United States around 1863 and had seven children all born in New Jersey.
