Bernard FOX was born in Clontibret, Co.Monaghan in either 1790 or 1792.
In 1817 he was convicted of stealing supplies, and was transported to Van Diemans Land (Tasmania, Australia) for life.
When he was given his Ticket of Leave, he later married Mary McShane (MacSeai'n) from Ballynascreen, near Drapers Town, Co. Derry.
I'm trying to trace his ancestors. Any info greatly appreciated.
