My DNA is on Ancestry, but not GEDmatch. Is your 5x great-grandmother from the Oldcastle area? My relatives came from Dromone.

I don't actually know what area she was from. I never found birth or marriage information on her in Clonmellon RC Parish so I assume she was from another area. Her son, Nicholas Farmer lived in the Oldcastle area, or ONE of the Nicholas Farmers did in a document . There are several and the parish records don't give enough information to know which is which. I also know my Nicholas Farmer 1788 - 1845 (fairly certain) lived in the Killallon area and died there as well. I also don't know if there were other children other than Nicholas Farmer & Honor Farmer Battersby.
