John was a clarke and Cat, was a shop keeper ,John  lived  in Watergate  St Michaels   Limerick . From what i can see both of their fathers were named Michael . i know the church very well as most of my family were baptised in there  It also comes under the parish of St Munchins   which i myself was baptised in . • Rosie, thanks for replying.  What do you mean by "John was a clarke and Cat."?

I thought both of the male parents were named Michael and one was a "turf buyer" and one was  a "weight master."

My goal is to meet up with living relatives.  I am as much a social historian as a geneologist.  I would love to come to Limerick and to meet my living relatives.  Maybe you can help me achieve this goal.   Jim White
