Catherine was the wife of Nicholas Devereux and the daughter of John Barry and Mary Sinnott
She married Nicholas 27 Feb 1827 in Kilmore, Co Wexford.
She and Nicholas immigrated with their children about 1854. (Some of her siblings can be found in New York (Bronx area and Ohio in later records)
Children: John 1830, Thomas 1831 died young, Anna, Nicholas, and Thomas.
There son Nicholas was a high ranking officer (2nd Lt Michigan 14th Reg Co B) during the American Civil War
She died in Marshall, Calhoun County. MI 22 April 1879 (per St-Mary's Church Records) and is buried by Nicholas in St-Mary's Cemetery but has no head stone.
