Charles Gallagher (1887-1969) Born in Meenatinny, Seacor (Conwal Parish) in 1887. County Donegal.

Shows in the 1901 and 1911 Census as living with his parents John and Ellen (nee McGinley) in 1901 census but his father John died in 1902.

Probably moved to Derry after the 1911 Census. He was 24 years old in 1911 and the eldest child. Married in Derry in 1920 to Mary McCauley from Ture in Co Donegal. They had 3 children in Derry and moved to Scotland in 1926. Charles died in West Lothian, Scotland in 1969.

His father was John Gallagher. He died in 1902 in Meenatinny with his son Charles (my paternal grandfather) by his side at home. I am not sure where John is buried. He and his wife Ellen were maried in Glenswilly, Co Donegal in 1886. Ellen probably is buried in Derry in 1916.

They lived near the Kingarrow National School  which was built in 1891. It is very close to Meenatinny.
