Charles Kerr was born in Leatbeg, Fanad about 1832.
He was married to Grace Gallagher, quite possiby from a nearby townland in Fanad. They had 6 children, all baptised in Massmount Chapel between 1850 and 1865.
Daniel, Mary, Catherine, John, Sarah and Edward Kerr. They arrived in the U.S. on the16 May 1866 having travelled like so many to Pennsylvania, where they set up a new life across the ocean.
