Does a member happen to have any records relating to this Connor Ryan who I suspect may be my GG Grandfather. I have no records at all on him or his wife or children.
I was told he married a Bridget Shea & together they had, at least, the following 3 children:
- Bridget B 1817 (circa)
- James B 1818 (circa), and
- William B 1828
My G Grandfather is a William Ryan. He emigrated to Australia in 1851 and married Mary Mc Donnell on 23 August 1853 at St Francis RC Church in Melbourne & together they had 13 children!!! I have a copy of their marriage certificate which shows William's age as 25 (which accords with the 1828 above). His place of birth is shown as Tipperary and his Parents names are listed as Connor & Bridget Ryan.
Copies of any records a member may have for any of the avove would be most welcome.
