Cornelius (Connor) Dailey (Daly) - Circa 1813  - Father was James or Jimmy Daly, Mother unknown.

Married to Elinor Mary Carlow in October of 1834 in Tynan, Armagh, Northern Ireland found in Tynan Parish Catholic Records.  

Had children Catherine, James A., Mary, and Elizabeth. Catherine born around 1835 - could not find record - James born in 1840 - could not find record, Mary born in 1841 in Tynan, Armagh found in Tynan Parish Catholic Records, and Elizabeth born in 1845 ifound in Tynan Parish Catholic Records.  

Cornelius was either farmer or laborer. Mary's record of baptism shows the townland of Pollinagh.  

The family migrated to New York, New York, USA in December of 1848 on the Ship Harrisburg departing from Belfast.

  • I am also the great great grandson of Connor Dailey (Daly), the great grandson of James A. Dailey in Malesus, Tenn. and the grandson of Edgar W. Dailey also from Malesus. I live in Wichita, Ks. USA. Is Conner buried in Tynan and if so what graveyard?
