Daniel was born in 1813 in Kilbee, the son of Patrick Farrell and Elizabeth Lyne. He was baptized at the RC Church in Listowel. His siblings were Mary, b 1812; Bridget, b. 1817; Elizabeth, b. 1820; and James, b. 1821. Elizabeth Lyne: Daniel’s mother, was born in Killarney. Daniel and his sister Elizabeth were living in Montreal, Quebec in 1849. Elizabeth married a John Farrell - yes, same surname, had one daughter, Catherine, b 1856. I THINK Elizabeth died in 1867 in Montreal. Catherine did not marry. Daniel married in 1850 in Quebec, had 3 daughters there, moved to Toronto where a son was born. All but the son have descendants who are spread out over North America but mostly in Canada. Daniel died in 1891 in Toronto.
