Daniel was born between 1848 and 1850. His mother on his death certificate is listed as Ellen Hartnett. I am not sure if this is correct. He told my grandfather that he was from Limerick County, Abbeyfeale. I am unsure about his fathers name. He immigrated to the United States around 1862 or 1865. He named his sons Daniel, Richard, Joseph, Leo, Christopher.

  • This may be a brother of my g-grandmother Ellen Sexton (see that Daniel said his mother was named Ellen)  She was born ca. 1832 and emigrated in 1850 to Australia then New Zealand.

Your information may fit. Do you know anything else about Ellen? Can you provide any more information about your family?
