David married 14 Feb 1863 Elizabeth Nolan (Doon) they had all their 18 children in Moroe Boher. David ran a farm in Turagh same farm as John Fitzgerald did on the 1850's Griffiths records & Tithe 1826 records. I presume in those days for David to get the farm he was an heir and son of John??
It was said that David's brother was John born c 1830 married Bridget Coffey, but I have no proof that they are brothers....this maybe brother John lived in Dromsallagh.
I would like confirmation as to Davids father, would it be John because of the inheritance of the farming land, there is even Edmond Fitzgerald who married Margaret Bourke who had a David & John (names used in the family come down the line as if to say). I do not know if there is a marriage cert for David that will state his father due to it was pre civil records in 1864
I would be wonderful if there were other kin in Ireland who may know a smidge more information on this family. I have details of David & children and the 5 who came to Australia, as I am a descendant of Davids son John b 1868 line.
