He then married Maria/Mary Sullivan on 20 Jan 1842 (as Bridget passed away in 1841) they married in Askeaton, Limerick. But they lived in Kildimo. David's parents were- Patrick Nealon and Margaret Reilly

My family connection is through Catherine Nealon (Kate) who went on and married Michael Carroll (also of Kildimo) -their children are: mary/Marian Carroll-born 1872, James Carroll-born 1873, Bridget Carroll-born 1875, and Margaret Carroll- born 1877. My Great Grandfather is James Carroll who came to the States (New YorK) and married Margaret Roche (also originally from Kildimo).

I would like to find out more on the Nealons-David. Also the Carrolls there.

Thank you. Carol

  • Hi Carol, My grandmother was Mary Nealon, born in 1900 in Dromkeen/Pallasgreen area. I'm getting the details and will create a profile for her, as you have done for David. I wonder if she may be his niece.
    Thanks.
