David Tobin, my great-great grandfather, birthdate unknown, married Mary Fogarty They were tenant farmers on Cloughleafin land and he was likely the son of William Tobin also listed as working Cloughleafin land with other Tobin family members prior to, including and following on from 1825 where they are listed on the Tithe Applotment Books. The children of David & Mary were: Mary (baptised April 1839 at Glanworth/Ballindangan, William my great grandfather born 1827, Michael born 1831, Patrick baptised 1838. Ellen birthdate unknown. William married Kate Walsh and they raised fifteen children on Lot 5a Cloughleafin. Any help in confirming David's father was William and his connection to the other Tobins in surrounding lots would be greatly appreciated.
