My great, great grandmother was Mary Ann Timlin born around 1800 who married my great, great grandfather Hugh Gallagher in County Mayo. They lived either in Rosserk or Ballina. Any relation?

Hi Teresa,
I have only seen your enquiry now. Dominic married Margaret Cavenagh (1813 - 1865) and emigrated to Scotland with the family around 1835. He may have had a sister Mary (1805-1871) but she married Patrick Weir (1788-1864) I'm still trying to confirm who were Dominics siblings and have had some clues through DNA matches. The Timlins seem to originate in and around Ballina (and there are not many of us) so there is a good chance of being a relation.
Regards,
Tim Timlin
