I have a David Russell whose brother was Edmond R Russell (born 1868) married to Kate O'Higgins who were sons of James Russell and grandson of Edmund Russel. They lived around Cobh, Co. Cork. My cousin has some Cork Russell's in his family from around Bandon.

I found a record of an Edmund Russell born and baptized in March 1861 at St. Peter and Pauls in Cork City, son of James and Hanora Russell. There was a record for one in 1863 but month did not match, nor father's name.
