EDWARD KELLY

EDWARD KELLY

Back to List

My Grandfather Edward Kelly was born in Tullydonnell and had strong connections with Dundalk. One of his nephews was James Kelly the Louth Volunteer. James Kelly features in a book called 'The Louth Volunteers'... Edward Kelly was an officer in the Irish National Foresters. In trying to find my grandfathers grave I thought I should ask the INF... I found them very unhelpful !!..  My grandfather moved to Wallasey on Merseyside about 1898 and died in 1910. His body was taken back to Ireland by the forresters and buried... but where... I intend to travel to Ireland again in a few months and will go to Tullydonnell if it exists any more.  The forresters want the name of my GFs Parish... How do I find that... ?
