Migrated to/Born in USA
I have only anecdotal evidence that he emigrated from County Donegal and that his ancestors came from Scotland. He was of the Presbyterian faith. First found in New York, Orange County, on the Naturalization records in 1833. Shortly thereafter came to Michigan and settled in Oakland County. Married Margaret Jeffers in New York and they had 13 children.
