I am looking for the names of Edward's parents. He was born 12/1/1831 in Loais somewhere. He had a brother Michael .Can anyone help with this. ?
On Rootsireland.ie website I found an Edward Moran bapt Dec 11, 1831 in Portlaoise Co. Laois.
His mother was Eliza Connell and his father was Hugh Moran – godparents were George Dunne and Bridget Connell. This is another supporting connection because in the 1800s very often individuals married people from their same parish.
