Ellen Fitzmaurice born abt.1850 Parents James & Bridget Fitzmaurice ( nee O'Shaughnessy)Ballyhahill Ellen married Daniel Wallace carpenter son of Patrick and Julia Wallace Tullyleague Glin Co. Limerick . Ellen lived in Glin with her husband and family until her death in 1898. Daniel Ellen and some of their children Patrick Wallace Bridget Kearney and Catherine (Katie) Wallace are buried in Kilfergus graveyard.
Annie Kirby (Wallace )buried in Liverpool. Julia Daly ( Wallace )buried in Kingscourt Co Cavan.

Some of Ellen's brothers and sisters emigrated in 1864 to Sydney Australia . Richard Fitzmaurice b 1840 and Margaret Fitzmaurice were 2 of the family that went to Australia. Not sure who else of the family went abroad . Copies of letters Richard and Margaret wrote on board the ship were handed down to the family. We have never being able to trace the Australian branch as we believe Richard was murdered in 1873 just 9 years after he emigrated..
