My gggrandmother, Ellen Flahive was married to Patrick Ivers in Buffalo NY in 1869. The marriage license says that her parents were Patrick Flahive and Catherine Sullivan. I have found a marriage record for Patrick and Catherine O'Sullivan for 1830 in Tralee. It says that he is from Curriheen. Family history says that she is from Ballyheigue or Tralee. Since there are several Flahives still in that area, I am wondering if anyone knows anything about this family. We are visiting Ireland again in July and are hoping to find out something about the Flahives on this trip.
