Ellen TUOHY was the daughter of Ausin TUOHY and Mary QUINN. Her baptism was located in the Catholic Diocese of Killaloe in 5 June 1865. She came to Australia - I think this was aboard the Bann to Sydney on 13 November 1882 as a single woman. She ended up in Maryborough, Queensland where she had a daughter, Mary Ellen, in 1886 before she married Heinrich KLEIN in 1887, and then went on to have three more children, Philip Henry KLEIN (born 1887), Heinrich Philip KLEIN (born 1889) and Sarah Ann KLEIN (born 1892). It seems that she left her husband with another man, Hermann HOGER, taking her oldest daughter, Mary, and leaving the other three with her husband, Heinrich. She then had another child named Beatrice HOGER in 1895. Ellen died in 1896 in Apple Tree Creek, which is a small town between Maryborough and Bundaberg in Queensland.
