Farrell Ward was my Grandmother Anne’s twin brother. He was Irish Catholic.
He was born in Carrick on Shannon, in Leitrim County on April, 27,1887.
His parents were Farrell Ward (born ca. 1840) and Mary Gilbane or Kilbane or Kilbanne (born ca. Approx. 1842), both in County Leitrim.
The family lived in Gortnagullion, Shanraw and are listed in both the 1901 and 1911 Irish census’.
