Felix McLernon was born on the 23 May 1841 to Felix and Jane Mc Lernon. He married Sarah Rea and they made their home in Millquarter, Ballyscullion Grange. Their children were Elizabeth (Lizzie), Isabella, Mary, Sarah, Alice Jane, Felix and Margaret Ann. Five children were definitely baptized at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, often called "Moneyglass chapel".

Lizzie went on to marry Robert Carleton at that chapel in 1883, and they lived with their family of eight children in Kilvillis until they moved to the Ballymena area.

Isabella, Mary and Sarah McLernon all emigrated to the Kensington section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in America. Isabella married Timothy Denihan and they had 3 children. Mary married William Sawyers ans Sarah married Joseph Murphy. All three sisters are buried in Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon, outside Philadelphia.

Felix, their only brother, was in Philadelphia for a time but returned to the Millquarter area and married Bridget Johnston on 12 May 1912 at Moneyglass Chapel. Felix and Bridget had five children: Sarah, Mary Anne, Frederick, Elizabeth and Kathleen. This couple's daughter, Sarah McLernon, married Patrick Lynn and the lived in Duneane parish.

Returning to the other children of Felix and Sarah Rea McLernon, nothing more could be discovered of Alice Jane after her baptism. Margaret Ann married Francis McCartney at St. Peter's in Belfast in 1921.
