I am searching for any information on my great grandfather, Garret Brown, and his family.
According to his baptism certificate his parents are John Brown and Ellen McAllister. He was born March 17, 1845 and was baptised March 19, 1845. He followed his siblings Johanna,John and Richard and emigrated to America August 17, 1867. A brother Thomas and a sister Margaret Brown Reidy appeared to have remained in Ballyheigue. He had 2 more brothers, Daniel and Patrick.
The townland for Thomas Brown is Boolbensharn and for Margaret it is Cloghaneleesh
