George Huey, born 1814 (though some references suggest 1795) - probably in Moneymore (near Magherafelt) - probably the brother of my great-grandfather, David Huey, born c.1803. George's son John had a daughter Nancy, who married my grandfather's sister (yes - I know-- they were cousins!). It gets messy !

There are a few Huey entries in the records of the Magherafelt Church of Ireland, PRONI MIC 1/1/1A. For example, Samuel and Lettice Huey baptised daughter Mary there on July 18, 1779. John Huey was buried there on March 27, 1758. And there are a couple of others.
