George Migrated to Liverpool and married Ellen Campbell. They had 5 sons, 2 of whom died as infants.
In 1874 Ellen died of Typhus and George took he 3 remaining boys to the Workhouse in Rice Lane Walton, Liverpool. George died that night in the workhouse hospital, also of Typhus.
George is buriied in an unmarked paupers grave, but Ellen also ended up in the same grave.
They are buried in Walton Cemetery, Rice Lane Liverpool.
