Her parents were Richard Pettit and Mary Killelea. Ricardum Petit married Mariam Killalea on February 23, 1832 in Roman Catholic, Boyle, Roscommon, Ireland. Family oral history supported by United States census records is that she emigrated in 1865. Other records point to 1870 as the year of emigration. Family oral history indicates that a brother accompanied her on the voyage, but he died at sea. Honoria (Annie) Paige died June 12, 1929 in Queens, New York.
