Left Castlefinn in 1870, age 14, to Pennsylvania. Married Catherine Jones, native of Wales in Eckley, PA , March 12, 1879. Father of 10 children, 2 girls, 8 boys. Went to Montana, sucessful gold miner and rancher there.
Father was David Elliott and his mother was Margaret Lawn.
