  • I'm looking for any information you may have on my 3rd great-grandparents, Hugh Killoran and Elizabeth Wall.  I believe that Hugh was born in County Sligo sometime around 1766.  He married Elizabeth Wall and they lived in Ballymote, County Sligo where they brought up four children:  Michael (b.1805), Thomas (b.1810), Cecelia (b.1814), and James (b.1815).  Michael was the first to emigrate to Belledune, New Brunswick in 1825.  Hugh emigrated to Kingston, Canada in 1831 with sons, Thomas and James.  They settled in Richmond and Erinsville, Ontario and Hugh died sometime around 1849.  It's believed that Elizabeth died either just before Hugh's passage or perhaps en route.  I have no official documentation on any of the family before coming to Canada so the information from Ireland is passed down through the family.  I would really appreciate help finding information on any family records from Ireland.

    Thank you,
