Wife is Margaret, born circa 1792 and died in 1851. Daughters Elizabeth (born ca 1804), Hannah Jane (born 14 Aug 1814) and Ann (born circa 1822) and sons Hugh (born 10 May 1817) and James (circa 1820) and Patrick (circa 1824). All were born in Ireland and emigrated to the United States where they lived in Pawtucket, Massachusetts (now Patwucket, RI). There is some suggestion that the family may have been from County Tyrone in the he civil parish of Termonmaguirk. However, DNA from Ancestry.com suggests roots in Munster Ireland, Dingle Peninsula, North Kerry & North Cork, West Dingle Peninsula.
