Hugh McGough and his wife Mary Halfpenny were married in Magheracloone Parish County Monaghan and had two daughters baptized there. Mary b. 17 June 1846 and Catherine b.1848. They immigrated to the USA around 1849. Settled in northern Ohio. Milan area. Many relatives came before and after and settled in Northern Ohio. Erie and Huron counties.
