thank youI searching for information on my great great grandfather Hugh Sweeney. He was born in 1799, more than likely in Donegal or Leitrim. For several years, prior to emigrating to US, he and his family lived in northern Leitrim in Kiltyclougher or Rossinver. His wife was Hannah McGovern, born about 1810. Their children were John, Peter, Ann, Catherine, Edward, and Hannah--the last born in the US. Any assistance for place of birth would be appreciated. Family emigrated on The Living Age in 1850.
