Irial Ó Fearghaíl aka Iriel Farrell of Cloonyquinn, Co. Roscommon (died c.1690) was married to Sarah Burke (d.1730), only daughter of Ulick Burke of Clare, Co. Galway. Their 3rd daughter Margery Farrell (c1673–1757) married Christopher French (d. 1718) of Tyrone, Co. Galway (eldest son of Arthur French, Mayor of Galway 1691).
By 1749, the only Farrell recorded in the Census of Elphin civil parish were in the townland Cloonyquinn (Michael Farrell, farmer) and Cloghermore (Edmund Farrell and Daniel Farrell, farmers).
