I have traced my Dillon relative back to Garrett Dillon b1755 married to Mary Nolan. Their children Edward Margaret Simon Thomas Mary and Owen were born in Westmeath. Do you know who your James Dillon's father was? Regards Robyn

Robyn, my James Dillon's fathre was Patrick Dillon, married to Mary Anne Callaghan. I believe Patrick was from Lochglynn in Rosscommon, but not proven, as yet. After they married, in Westmeath, the Dillons moved to Bohala, near Ballaghaderreen, in Mayo. JoAnn
