My 3rd great-grandparents were from Avoca Catholic parish and Castlemacadam civil parish. I'm looking for any information about his parents whose names were Matthew and Agnes. These are the names on his death certificate in Sydney, NSW in 1878 when he died at "Avondale House", Kent Street, Sydney, the residence of his daughter, Lucy Spruson. I know that James married Margaret McDonnell in Wicklow in 1820. I have information about 12 children, 11 of whom lived to adulthood and migrated to New South Wales in 1851 and 1852.
I would be very grateful for any information about James' parents, Matthew Doyle and Agnes (Unknown) and also the parents of Margaret McDonnell, WIlliam McDonnell and Margaret (Unknown).
