James Ginn immigrated to the US through Philadelphia with his brother John.
Wife for James was Mary Guthrie and for John, Isabella Guthrie, possibly sisters.
Jame and John migrated north, James to Canada and John to the
Indiana area.
James had 10 children the last was Isabella, my g grandmother
Her birth is listed at 1840 and she was 11 yo at census time in Canada.
There are multiple Ginn families in the southern US and I wonder
if more family came over with James and John but went South. WAs
this a habit of the Irish coming to America?
