Looking for any information regarding James McCabe (abt 1780 - 2 Sep 1878).

James was married to Jane "Jennie" Tully and emigrated to Preston Township, Pennsylvania USA, date prior to 1860.

He is buried with Jennie (1786 - 4 Apr 1882) in the graveyard at St. Juliana's RC Church in Preston Township.  This area is also know as the Rock Lake area.

They had 4 children born in Ireland: my GGGF Hugh (2 Feb 1820), Mary Ann (abt Feb 1823), James (2 Aug 1825 - his death certifcate notes Bailieborough, IRE as location of birth), John (abt Dec 1829).

We have no other information regarding where in Ireland our family may have lived.

Hugh married Margaret Tully (1828 - 1850).  He then married Margaret Howard (1828-1913) in 1856.  Margaret was from Carrolton, Cattaragus County, NY.  Ultimately, Hugh and his the children would live in Chipmonk, Cattaragus County, NY.  This is very near Olean and Allegheny, NY.

We've traced most of the the family within the USA but we have had no luck whatsoever with any details for Ireland.  We've made friendly connections with other McCabe's (Larry, Thom and Peter) who maybe very distantly related via our DNA tests.  All three have been very helpful and also struggle with finding much information on their McCabe relatives.
