  • Updating - I query the newspaper information that James MOORE was born in Portadown. I have found at PRONI a Probate granted record for James MOORE of Drumarn (probably Drumrawn in 1700's) in 1728. In Griffiths there is an Arthur MOORE in the townland opf Drumrawn until 1882. Also a William MOORE who married Eliza COUDY on 10 Nov 1858 in Drumqin. Mary MOORE born 1828/9 (daughter of James MOORE & Mary COULTER) married Thomas McGechie there in 1849 before settling in Glasgow.James MOORE & Jane GIVINS were living in Drumrawn when married in 1852.
