b abt 1780 Drumkeeran. died 4 May 1869 Camden E Twp, Lennox & Addington Co, Ontario, Canada - tombstone says "Native of Drumkeeran Co Fermanagh". Married to Ellen/Eleanor Sproul(e). To Canada about 1828-29 with wife and 6 children, together with son-in-law Robert McVeity and his siblings and possibly with Sproule relatives too.

    I know very little about searching for people in ancestral terms. I have, however, found a baptismal record for a James  Brandon dated   19/4/1786.

    His father was William Brandon, mother was Elizabeth. Lived at Gortnagullion (written as  'Gautnagullen' ).

    This is in  BIRTHS RECORDED  IN ST. MARYS CHURCH, ARDESS (Parish of Magheraculmoney) Co. Fermanagh
